Bill has also presented seminars on workers’ compensation topics to SWOSIA (Southwestern Ohio Self-Insurers Association), Ohio State Bar Association, Dayton Bar Association, and private organizations. Bill is a former prosecutor for Vandalia, Ohio. In this capacity, he gained extensive experience handling jury trials and administrative hearings. Following his tenure as a city prosecutor, Bill entered private practice in 1983. Before joining Dunlevey, Mahan & Furry, he gained a thorough knowledge of the workers’ compensation system and valuable insights into opposition strategies while working at a noted claimants’ law firm. Since 1992, Bill has exclusively defended employers in workers’ compensation matters. Bill is a member of the Ohio State, Miami County and Dayton Bar Associations. He is past chairman of the Workers’ Compensation Committee of the Dayton Bar Association. He frequently speaks to management oriented organizations on the topic of workers’ compensation. Bill received his undergraduate degree from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and his law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law. |
